This residence harmonises modern contemporary design with colonial heritage through meticulous material integration. Clean lines and functional elegance define the space, where Planilaque glass amplifies light, warm wood tones ground the aesthetic, and metal accents add refinement. Structural reconfiguration—including steel beams to replace load-bearing walls—was executed with rigorous safety oversight.

The challenge lay in balancing eras: we preserved traditional motifs while introducing modern elements like expansive glass surfaces. Careful demolition and reconstruction optimised the layout without compromising the home's cultural essence.

Now, the residence embodies a quiet sophistication, where glass reflects heritage details, wood textures soften sleek metal, and every structural choice serves both beauty and purpose. It’s a Terraforma study in honouring the past while embracing contemporary living.
